Q - I have a realtor - can I still sell my house to a Real Estate investor?
Normally, the numbers will not work if a realtor is involved. Realtor's normally charge a 6% commission which leaves very little room for negotiating a price. For an example, 6% of a house worth $200k, is $12k. That is a significant amount when negotiating the sale of a property.
Our advice would be to go ahead and fill out our sell house form to get the process stated (after all there is no commitment). Then call your realtor and ask what happens if you find your own buyer; will all commissions be waived?
You should be able to negotiate a waived or significantly reduced fee. On either case, it's beneficial to get the ball rolling by completing our Sell House Fast form.
